ibak Hamburg

Sustainable Transformation

The mission of the Hamburg-based company ibak is to optimise buildings both economically and ecologically. The company’s values and commitment to high quality are to be visibly embodied in their own work environment. The redesign of the existing rental space by brandherm + krumrey underscores this approach with a high-quality colour and material concept that offers atmospheric variety. A particular focus in designing the office landscape was placed on the functional requirements of the company and the needs of its employees. In addition to desks for focused individual work, there is a large meeting room as well as areas for micro-meetings, with each function being consistently reflected in a monochromatic colour scheme. This creates a coherent and harmonious overall impression. The workstations are deliberately designed in a subdued colour scheme to promote concentration. Additionally, special attention was given to room acoustics to create an optimal working environment and enhance people’s well-being. The office spaces in Hamburg’s inner city thus meet the demands of a modern and contemporary work environment, offering the best conditions for both employees and clients.
