bki shortlisted with no fewer than three projects
High praise for bki: All three projects submitted by the practice have been nominated in the ‘Commercial’ category for the ECIA Interior Award 2026 – the 4flow headquarters in Berlin, the Foyer + Hub / Boardrooms for Bastei Lübbe AG, and OSA / HAVENS LIVING Berlin.
The ECIA Interior Award is organised by the European Council of Interior Architects (ECIA) and recognises outstanding projects in European interior architecture. This year’s edition focuses on ‘Responsible Design’, a holistic approach that combines spatial, social, environmental and cultural responsibility. The award seeks interior architecture projects that translate aspects such as sustainability, inclusion, wellbeing, flexibility and social connection into compelling spatial concepts.
With the 4flow Headquarter Berlin, bki has created a flexible working environment that places communication and collaboration at its heart. The foyer and boardrooms for Bastei Lübbe combine reception, social interaction and new ways of working within a multifunctional space. OSA / HAVENS LIVING Berlin demonstrates how residential living and hospitality can be combined in a contemporary, community-oriented environment.
These three projects thus reflect different facets of responsible interior architecture, from future-proof working environments and places for social interaction to new forms of living.
The winners of the ECIA Interior Award 2026 will be announced on 18 September 2026 at the awards ceremony in Warsaw. We congratulate the whole bki team on this special recognition and are keeping our fingers crossed for the next round!
