Expert discussion at the Düsseldorf stilwerk with Susanne Brandherm
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, many architects have become increasingly aware of spaces that are healthy and promote well-being. On October 19th, an expert talk on “Healthy Spaces” will take place as part of the ReFraming Architecture series. At stilwerk in Düsseldorf, Susanne Brandherm and Prof. Dr. Axel Buether from the University of Wuppertal will talk about this topic.
Given the challenges in the healthcare sector, this event will highlight a particularly relevant aspect of interior design. How can spaces enhance our well-being or even our health? What factors are crucial in this regard, and what does the future of healthy interior design look like? Susanne Brandherm will draw from our diverse experiences gained in this field, including our recent designs of sample rooms for the Klinikverbund Gesundheit Nord and of several new wards for the Wahrendorff Hospital. Together with presenter Karen Hartwig, editor-in-chief of the AW Architektur und Wohnen magazine, the talk will explore these and other aspects of “Healthy Spaces”. The focus will be on the opportunity to exchange ideas and network in a relaxed atmosphere.
The event will take place in the Meet Pablo Gallery on the 2nd floor.
Registration is open until 10 October 2023 at rsvp@stilwerk.de.
