At the most prominent residential design award in Germany, we have once again received a prize: Our project, the Holiday Home in Eckernförde, was honoured at this year’s Best of Interior award and featured in the accompanying publication. In collaboration with industry partners, Callwey Verlag is acknowledging outstanding private interior design concepts for the ninth time. The criteria for this award are: harmonious, homely, contemporary and personal.

Our approach to the interior design of the holiday home in Eckernförde began with the question of what kind of environment promotes tranquillity and relaxation. Creating a place of well-being for all generations was especially important to the family of four seeking a retreat. Inside the modern brick house, we therefore designed a central space as the family’s focal point where all functions converge. The interior is dominated by bright and warm materials, accentuating the airy ambiance. The Best of Interior jury was particularly impressed by the open design concept with its flowing spatial transitions. Along with the other selected projects, our holiday home project is extensively showcased in the Best of Interior 2023 book.
