Fürst und Friedrich Düsseldorf

Impressive reception

brandherm + krumrey design an extraordinary foyer for the new office building Fürst und Friedrich in Düsseldorf. In the middle of the city center, the developer Art-Invest combines a historic natural stone façade with state-of-the-art office architecture. Approx. 5,500 square meters of flexible office space with coworking spaces, office spaces, conference and event areas are being created here for the anchor tenant Design Offices. The foyer designed by brandherm + krumrey opens up behind the neoclassical facade of the old building. Düsseldorf architects Slapa Oberholz Pszczulny designed the space as an imposing reception area spanning five floors with light-colored natural stone walls. Panoramic elevators lead to the upper floors and allow an impressive perception of old and new. With upholstered window niches, an espresso bar and homely seating areas, the interior design is extremely inviting and provides space for informal encounters. Relief sculptures by the artist Jan Albers also contribute to the special ambience. Spatial impression, design and art thus combine to create an unmistakable atmosphere that gives the new office building its very own identity.
