In a world of constant noise, silence has become a luxury. Yet acoustic quality and quiet spaces are no longer extras – they are essential for productivity and well-being in everyday office life. But what does a space that is truly beneficial look like? Our colleague Janina Jäkel will be discussing this very topic on 25 September 2025 at the ‘The Power of Stillness’ event hosted by Berlin Acoustics in Berlin.

Since its foundation in 2022, the young company has established itself as a pioneer in the field of innovative acoustic solutions for modern working environments and offers sound-insulated telephone and meeting booths that set the highest standards in privacy and focus in the workplace.

The event will centre on a talk between Janina Jäkel, interior designer at b-k-i, and David Kaltenbach, product designer at Berlin Acoustics. Together, they will discuss how workspaces are changing – and how interior design, especially acoustics, can contribute to the well-being of employees.
