Susanne Brandherm will take on a teaching position in exhibition architecture at the Peter Behrens School of Arts in Düsseldorf starting in the winter semester 2019/2020. PBSA educates around 1,600 students in the departments of architecture and design at Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences. The focus of teaching is on artistic and creative projects as well as a holistic approach to education.

As part of her teaching assignment, Susanne Brandherm will focus on spaces of communication. This involves projects such as showrooms, trade fairs or exhibitions whose design conveys content in a special way. This not only highlights a current design issue, but also addresses a research focus of PBSA. One focus of the department is on the present and history of exhibitions and their design, especially in a socio-cultural context.
