Design Offices Essen
Ruhr Tower
The Ruhr Tower in Essen is a modern architectural icon. The former Thyssen Krupp administration building was one of the first high-rise buildings to be erected after the Second World War. Today, the renovated and listed building houses, among others, office space of the provider Design Offices. In the coworking spaces, which are spread over several floors, brandherm + krumrey has enhanced the existing space quality with homely interior design.
The flexible working landscapes of Design Offices are spread over almost 7,000 square meters in the Ruhr Tower. With coworking and office space as well as conference and event rooms, the location bundles all important formats for modern working. The Rooftop Lounge in the former executive floor is a special highlight. The two-story space on the 19th floor offers impressive views of the city. Here, as on the other floors, generous window areas create an extremely light atmosphere. brandherm + krumrey counter the sober charm of the post-war architecture with warm colors, materials such as mahogany and many green plants. In the combination of high-quality designed work furniture with upholstered armchairs, carpets and homely accessories, they give the rooms an emphatically friendly ambience. The openness and flexibility of the work environment is emphasized with loose furnishings and visible ceiling installations. In between, there are always places for joint exchange and creative networking. Incorporating the special spatial impression, the high-rise architecture of the 1950s was thus transformed into a collaborative office landscape.
