Showroom, think tank and administrative headquarters – that is the BIRKENSTOCK Campus in Neustadt/Wied. All the paths of Germany’s largest shoe manufacturer converge here in an area of around 11,000 square meters. brandherm + krumrey translated the brand’s “feel-good” experience into far-reaching concepts for the interior design of the headquarters. As soon as you enter the campus, you can experience the BIRKENSTOCK brand identity in a special way. The lounge in the central foyer welcomes visitors and employees with a kind of spatial sculpture. Natural and for the company typical materials such as leather, felt and cork set homely accents here. The impression is reinforced by the rising plank floor, which curves up to the ceiling and encloses the room like a wave. Visitors are thus invited to immerse themselves in the world of the company.
