The new volume “German Interior Designers” features an exclusive selection of 34 German offices – among them brandherm + krumrey with four of their latest projects. In this new book, editor and curator Ralf Daab brings together some of the most renowned designers in this field and presents their work with large-format photographs. Unique and pioneering spatial concepts are presented, on which the introduction states: “With a skilful balance between reduction and dynamics, spaces and people are brought together”.
In addition to the Birkenstock Showroom in Tokyo, other projects by brandherm + krumrey are the blood donation room on the Hamburg University Campus and the new canteen of the Wuppertal-based Coroplast Company. In addition, the book features the office environment for the real estate expert Deutsche Wohnwerte from Heidelberg, which has already won several awards. Ralf Daab comments on the special design of the projects: “In the given rooms, materials, colours, fabrics, furniture, and art, and above all light, create emotions that evoke a feel-good experience for employees and visitors alike.” The volume is now available.
