The iF DESIGN AWARD has been presented since 1954. It is one of the world’s most prestigious design awards. Every year, the award recognises projects that stand out for their design quality, innovative strength, and conceptual clarity, as judged by a jury of 129 independent design experts from around the world.

In 2026, brandherm + krumrey interior architecture (bki) emerged victorious from a competition featuring over 10,000 entries from 68 countries and was awarded the iF DESIGN AWARD in the Interior Architecture discipline, Corporate Interiors category, for its REWE Trakt X project.

With this award, the iF DESIGN AWARD recognises a working environment that combines contemporary office architecture with a distinct spatial identity. REWE Trakt X exemplifies a corporate interior approach that not only meets functional requirements but also conveys a sense of purpose: through distinct zones, a precise choice of materials and colours, and a spatial concept that facilitates collaboration, interaction and privacy in equal measure.
