At this year’s iF Design Awards, 132 international design experts selected two of our projects as winners. We are delighted with the jury’s decision to honour the MTU Communication Centre and the Reutlingen student residence with the award. The iF Design Award, which has been presented since 1954, is recognised as a hallmark of exceptional design. As the world’s oldest independent design institution, iF International Forum Design GmbH presents the award once a year to international projects.

The MTU Communication Centre received an award in the Interior Architecture and Office Interiors categories. Our design for the project, which involves catering facilities and various areas for meetings and informal exchange, is based on a holistic and versatile spatial concept. Modern shapes, friendly colours and high-quality materials lend each area an individual character. The student residence in Reutlingen, awarded in the categories of Interior Architecture and Hospitality Interiors, provides 182 flats and various communal areas. Their vibrant and pleasant ambience is designed according to the principle of a residential community to promote social interaction and communication.

The iF Design Awards will be presented on 29 April 2024 in Berlin. All prize winners are already being presented on the iF Design Award website.
