With its annually published handbook, the Bund Deutscher Innenarchitekten (bdia) points out the quality of interior architecture. As the most important German association in this field, it presents examples of outstanding interior architecture in this publication. The current issue once again features a project by brandherm + krumrey.
This year’s bdia handbook focuses on the topic of Public Interiors — Good Interior Architecture for Everyone. 25 projects illustrate selected planning and design expertise in this area — including the Work Lounge for the Coroplast Group by brandherm + krumrey. With its homely design, the chill-out and meeting area for employees provides various functional zones for exchange or relaxation. The flowing transition between interior and exterior space is also exceptional. In addition to such projects, three specialist articles in the new bdia handbook illustrate the social significance and added value of well-designed public and social spaces.
