Sabine Krumrey studied interior design at the Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences. After various positions in interior design offices in southern Germany, she has worked as an independent interior designer since 1993. In 1999 she founded the office brandherm + krumrey interior architecture in Cologne together with Susanne Brandherm. Sabine Krumrey has headed the office’s Hamburg office since 2000. She was nominated for the INsider Award in 2008 for her work. She is also the winner of the German Interior Design Award 2019 from the Association of German Interior Designers (bdia). Since 2015 she has been a lecturer in spatial concepts and design at the AMD Akademie Mode und Design in Hamburg. Professor at the AMD Akademie Mode & Design in Hamburg since February 2025.
