The EXPO in Kortrijk, Belgium, is considered a hotspot of the international architecture and design scene. brandherm + krumrey designed exclusive exhibition areas for the Utility 2 Build trade fair there. The modular booth concept offers a framework for the presented products and the networking of the trade visitors in equal measure. The fair focuses on materials and technology from the construction sector. Reduced exhibition modules structure the exhibition hall and exclusively stage the exhibitors’ products. In this way, every company is given an identical platform to present its own offering in the right light. The clever arrangement of the modules creates an open course for the visitors. Flowing transitions between exhibition and meeting areas create a communicative atmosphere.
