Dentistry practice

Open space structure

Comprehensive care under one roof – this is what the Cologne dental practice Dr. Förster-Marenbach & Dr. Marenbach advertises. To ensure that their patients feel comfortable, the dentists focus on a pleasant practice environment. The interior design by brandherm + krumrey provides a fitting framework for this. Visitors are greeted with bright and friendly colors as soon as they enter the practice rooms. The rhythmic alternation of open and closed surfaces creates a dynamic spatial structure. While the reception presents itself as an open zone, the waiting area is divided off as a central block with floor-to-ceiling glass walls. Wooden lamellas divide this block so that it appears transparent and open despite its spatial enclosure. This unusual division of space not only brings daylight into the interior of the practice, but also allows for a better overview.
