Forum Pharmacy Berlin

Open space concept

During the conversion of the Forum Apotheke in Berlin, brandherm + krumrey were able to implement a concept for the interior design that was as modern as it was functional. The salesroom in an old building from the turn of the century was extensively redesigned for this purpose. The pharmacy near Neukölln’s city hall offers 150 square meters of additional space after the conversion. Due to the relocation of a gateway, the structural challenge was extremely great. The result looks all the more open with free furniture in the room. Surfaces made of linoleum and solid surface or a large steel shelf integrated into the display window characterize the modern ambience. Looking up or at the walls, you will find references to the history of the house. Parts of the brickwork and the historic stucco ceiling were uncovered during the reconstruction and incorporated into the design.
