On 18 and 19 March 2026, Susanne Brandherm and Sabine Krumrey, the founders of brandherm + krumrey interior architecture (bki), will be speaking at the Leaders in Architecture & Design DACH international conference in Hamburg. This prestigious event, held at the Elysee Hotel, brings together leading architects, interior architects, and decision-makers from the planning and construction industry. It is widely regarded as a key global platform for professional networking and international dialogue on the future of architecture and design.

During the conference, both interior architects will discuss key future topics for the industry in panel discussions. On 18 March, Sabine Krumrey will speak on the panel ‘Leaders in Office Design: The New Era of Office Design. Shaping the Workplace of the Future’ together with representatives from renowned international firms about current developments and new requirements for working environments. The focus will be on questions of flexible usage concepts, the role of design in hybrid working models, and the importance of space for communication, identity and corporate culture.
On 19 March, Susanne Brandherm will take part in the panel discussion ‘Leaders in Healthcare Design: Beyond the Hospital. Form, Function and the Future Health Ecosystem’. The discussion will examine how healthcare spaces are evolving in the face of social and technological changes and what role architecture and interior architecture play in designing sustainable healthcare ecosystems.

The panels will be held in English, offering bki the opportunity to contribute its own perspectives on interior architecture to the international professional discourse, as well as the chance to exchange views on current developments with leading industry representatives.
