Women in Architecture (WIA) is the first nationwide festival to highlight women in architecture, interior Architecture and other planning professions. Between 19th and 29th June 2025, numerous events taking place throughout Germany will highlight the achievements of female planning professionals for the building sector. Susanne Brandherm and Sabine Krumrey are looking forward to giving their support to the festival with several contributions.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Conversation at mdFlurfunk<\/strong>
On June 25, Susanne Brandherm and Sabine Krumrey will be discussing the topic of \u201cLong Term\/Long Distance\u201d as part of the festival. In the Flurfunk series of the trade magazine md, they will share the secrets of their successful professional partnership and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of their two locations in Cologne and Hamburg.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Launch of Women in Office Design<\/strong>
During the WIA Festival, the German chapter of Women in Office Design will also be launched, lead by Susanne Brandherm together with two other female experts. The global platform aims to actively shape change in the world of work. The German chapter will kick off with an event on June 25 in Berlin on the topic of \u201cImpact of Women in Office Design\u201d. Keynote speeches and a panel talk invite participants to share ideas and transfer knowledge for the design of future working environments.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Walks with the bdia<\/strong>
The Association of German Interior Architects bdia will also be taking part in the festival: With walks through German cities, it invites you to discover unique projects planned by interior architects. In her role as an advisor, Sabine Krumrey has together with the bdia K\u00fcste, organized the walk in the Hanseatic city of Wismar. She will accompany the tour to the \u201cDaughters of the Hanse\u201d on the 19th of June. As part of her advisory board work for bdia NRW, Susanne Brandherm initiated and organized the Cologne walk. During the curated tour through the cathedral city on the 27th of June, she will present Design Offices in Dominium, which was designed by us.
