Simmons + Simmons is an international law firm with a focus on selected industry sectors. Its D\u00fcsseldorf office is prominently located in the K\u00d6-Bogen, an iconic building ensemble designed by star architect Daniel Libeskind. To meet the evolving demands of workspaces, the public areas of the law firm were restructured. On the 1,900 square metres of office space, brandherm + krumrey designed an open-plan concept that allows a flexible and agile use, providing numerous opportunities for interaction and communication.<\/p>\n

As a major international law firm, Simmons + Simmons cultivates a personal and familiar work atmosphere. The redesign of the public areas caters to the associated need for exchange. Seamless transitions between the different areas provide places for meetings, impromptu gatherings or small group discussions. The entrance area welcomes visitors with a Wait + Work zone, which includes not only the reception desk but also a cosy seating area with armchairs and a generous upholstered bench. The circulation zones towards the individual offices have been enhanced with a Work Caf\u00e9, offering flexible groups of tables that provide space for breaks or an alternative workspace to the desk. The central eyecatcher in the redesigned office areas is the curved Library with semi-circular shelves for legal literature and a likewise curved reading counter. In addition, there\u2019s an employee lounge and a spacious rooftop terrace with comfortable outdoor furniture for informal conversations or community events. The overall design tone is one of relaxed professionalism. The colour and material concept reinforces this impression with subdued shades of green and blue, along with a combination of glass and metal surfaces, plenty of textiles and natural wood. The result is an ambiance that conveys both openness and discreet quality.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
