\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tFor the revitalization of an office building from the 1980s in D\u00fcsseldorf, brandherm + krumrey were commissioned, among other things, with the design of the representative foyer. With a total of over 9,000 square meters of office space, the building benefits not only from the good infrastructure but also from the urban diversity of the location. The goal of the owner, Art-Invest, was to gradually modernize and upgrade the high-quality but outdated interiors.\n\nFor the new foyer, a design concept was required that met the sensitive requirements of fire protection. From this specification, brandherm + krumrey developed a spatial concept that is as clear as it is modern. Few materials and design elements structure the central entrance area and create a high-quality ambience. Like a kind of guidance system, backlit metal wall slats lead to the elevators and at the same time convey spatial depth. The cool aesthetic of this installation is further emphasized by the concrete look of the ceiling and floor. In contrast, a cubic fixture made of light wood and with blue upholstered seating niche dominates the other half of the room. An upholstered bench serves as a central eye-catcher in the foyer, with seating elements in different colors inviting visitors to linger and softening the austere design of the entrance area.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
