Susanne Brandherm

Biography

Susanne Brandherm studied interior design at Detmold University of Applied Sciences. After working for various interior design offices in Cologne, she and Sabine Krumrey founded the office brandherm + krumrey interior architecture in 1999. She now manages the branch office in Cologne. Susanne Brandherm received the INsider Award for her work in 2013. She is also a winner of the German Interior Design Award 2019 from the Association of German Interior Designers (bdia). In addition to her creative work, she taught at Trier University of Applied Sciences from 2013 to 2015 and currently holds a teaching position at Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences, PBSA. Since 2012, she has been a member of the advisory board of the architect@work Germany trade fair and has been a jury member of the German Design Award since 2016.
Susanne Brandherm has been honorary director of the Karl Bröcker Stiftung “Zukunft für Kinder” since 2002.
