Sabine Krumrey studied interior design at Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences. After various positions in interior design firms in southern German, she worked as a freelance interior designer since 1993. In 1999, she founded the office brandherm + krumrey interior architecture in Cologne together with Susanne Brandherm. Sabine Krumrey has headed the Hamburg branch since 2000. Her work was nominated for the INsider Award in 2008. She is also a winner of the German Interior Design Award 2019 from the Association of German Interior Designers (bdia). Since 2015, she has been acting as a lecturer at the Department of Room Concepts and Design of the AMD Academy of Fashion and Design in Hamburg.
