Special Spatial Experience
Openness and transparency characterise a villa in Cologne, whose interior design was conceived by brandherm + krumrey for private clients. The minimalist design vocabulary of interior design is evident immediately upon entering the building.
Large panoramic windows open up the building’s decidedly modern architecture to the surrounding garden. The design idea for the interior was therefore to maintain as much of this openness as possible and to stage the views of the greenery outside. The interior is deliberately restrained and refrains from opulent design. Instead, the furnishings are characterised by exclusive materials, high-quality designer furniture and exquisite details. The various rooms, some of which extend over two floors and thus offer a special spatial experience, are bright and spacious.
