Open Room Structure
Comprehensive care under one roof – this is the service the dental practice Dr. Förster-Marenbach & Dr. Marenbach in Cologne advertises. To make sure that their patients feel comfortable, the dentists focus on a pleasant practice ambience. The interior design by brandherm + krumrey offers a suitable framework for this.
As soon as patients enter the practice, they are welcomed with bright and friendly colours. The rhythmic alternation of open and closed surfaces creates a dynamic spatial structure. While the reception area presents itself as an open zone, the waiting area is partitioned off as a central block with floor-to-ceiling glass walls. Wooden lamellas structure this block so that it appears transparent and open despite its spatial closeness. This unusual room division not only brings daylight into the interior of the practice, but also allows a better overview.
