Experience of Space and Brand

Showroom, think tank and administration centre – that is the BIRKENSTOCK Campus in Neustadt/Wied. Here, all channels of Germany’s largest shoe manufacturer come together on an area of about 11,000 square meters. brandherm + krumrey translated the brand’s “feelgood” experience into far-reaching concepts for the headquarters’ interior design.

BIRKENSTOCK’s brand identity can be experienced in a special way as soon as you enter the campus. The lounge in the central foyer welcomes visitors and employees with a kind of spatial sculpture. Natural materials typical of the company such as leather, felt and cork add homely highlights. The impression is intensified by the floorboards, which are extended towards the ceiling in an arch formation and envelop the space like a wave. Visitors are thus invited to immerse themselves in the corporate world.
