From 2020, the former Westin Bellevue Hotel Dresden is operating under the Bilderberg brand and is an integral part of the cityscape. The historic baroque building was complemented in the 1980s by two large wings and an extensive garden area to form the hotel complex as it exists today. It offers a unique view of Dresden’s city silhouette. During the extensive renovation of the hotel, brandherm + krumrey have adapted the interior design to the modern standard expected by today’s travellers.
The redesign of the first-class hotel was aimed at creating special moments for the guests. The different demands of the international clientele are therefore reflected in the 326 renovated rooms and suites. Stylish and understated furniture as well as textiles in muted colours turn each room into an individual and deliberately homely retreat. A special feature are the generously upholstered benches, which together with coloured cushions and vases emphasise the homelike ambience. Modern bathrooms and subtle lighting design ensure relaxed comfort. With carefully coordinated materials, a high-quality and harmonious overall impression was created in all rooms. The renovated conference centre with a foyer and ballrooms as well as three new conference rooms and the breakfast area also invite people to enjoy a pleasant stay. Here, too, warm colours, wall panelling and exquisite vintage carpets make for a harmonious overall picture for discerning guests.
