The “home4” project in Cologne’s Rheinauhafen is designed to generate new enthusiasm for living in the city. Hadi Teherani’s high-quality architecture offers space for individual lifestyles – as in the apartment designed by brandherm + krumrey, which becomes a spatial experience over two floors. As a pure idea of living could be considered the minimalist ambience of the two floors. The predominant white of the walls, floors and fixtures creates a restrained setting for the occupants’ activities. Only a few selected pieces of designer furniture and art set individual accents. The views of the Rhine flowing past are all the more impressive. Everything subordinates to the sophisticated purism, creating an extraordinary form of urban living.
