The “home4” project in Cologne’s Rheinauhafen is intended to inspire new enthusiasm for living in the city. The high-quality architecture by Hadi Teherani provides room for individual lifestyles – just like in the apartment designed by brandherm + krumrey, which is turned into a spatial experience extending over two floors.

The minimalist ambience of the two floors could be regarded as a pure idea of living. The prevailing colour white of the walls, floors and fixtures creates a restrained background for the occupants’ activities. Only few selected designer furniture and works of art add individual highlights. Therefore, the views of the Rhine passing by seem all the more impressive. Everything is subordinated to sophisticated purism and thus creates an extraordinary form of urban living.
