Purism meets individuality. The owner of the private apartment in Ulm had clearly formulated his demand: a straightforward, unadorned ambience characterised by genuine materials. The solution developed by brandherm + krumrey is both simple and sophisticated.
Sensitively coordinated surfaces determine the impression of the individual living rooms. Fair-faced concrete and natural wood add calm highlights. Almost all functions are concealed behind the smooth surfaces of walls, furniture and built-in units. This makes the open room sequences all the more effective. Shades of grey and white characterise the ambience, which meets the owner’s demands for a purist environment and leaves plenty of scope for individual development.
