In the I/D Cologne office ensemble, we have created a modern working environment for Design Offices. We are therefore particularly pleased about the current recognition of the project as Building of the Week on the online platform German-Architects.
I/D Cologne was planned by RKW Architektur + in the Cologne district of Mülheim as the prelude to a new quarter. Since their completion last year, the two office buildings provide spacious loft-style architecture for individual forms of work. They are located in an environment that has in recent years developed into a location for media and culture on the right bank of the Rhine. What is special about the project, apart from the flexible office layouts for networked working, is the sustainable construction method. The online platform German-Architects has now taken this as an opportunity to highlight the ensemble as Building of the Week. The platform is part of an international network of selected architects and construction experts who stand for high-quality architecture. The digital network regularly communicates selected content and features high-quality contemporary architecture.
