Using examples from brandherm + krumrey, the new book “High on… Office Design” shows groundbreaking concepts in the working world. In this new publication, editor and curator Ralf Daab brings together an exclusive selection of current office projects. It presents innovative spatial concepts for the transformation of work — office environments that adapt flexibly to the new digital possibilities and social changes.
“Work and the workplace will take on a new meaning, and the significance of what we do will expand as the individual needs of employees are increasingly taken into account when designing office spaces,” reads the introduction to the new publication. Three projects by brandherm + krumrey are presented in this book. The Design Offices Gereon & Mediapark in Cologne, the Work Lounge for Coroplast and the office world created for the project developer Deutsche Wohnwerte are exemplary of forward-looking office concepts. Solutions for the requirements of New Work are as much the subject of discussion as is the homely design of the workplace. The volume is available in bookstores.
