We are proud to have received another recognition at the Best Workspaces award. This year, two of our projects were selected for the international architecture award for smart working environments. Following last year’s recognition for the TWT Digital Group Headquarters, the LIST Group Headquarters in Nordhorn and Bielefeld and the Birkenstock Headquarters in Cologne have now been acknowledged. An independent jury of experts assessed the submitted internationally pioneering working environment concepts.
Where employees feel at ease, they enjoy working together and identify with their workspace. It was precisely this aspect that convinced the jury about the office buildings of the LIST Group, which, along with four other projects among the 50 selected submissions, received a special mention. In cooperation with the architects RKW Architektur +, who designed the hangar-shaped buildings, we conceived an interior design that is as stimulating as it is flexible. Multifunctional system furniture and an intelligent spatial layout allow for different modes of use. The headquarters of the international fashion label Birkenstock also benefits from an inspiring atmosphere. In two historical warehouses at Cologne’s Rheinauhafen, we designed individual areas for different offerings. Incorporating the impressive cross-ribbed vaults, a modern working environment with showrooms was created.
